CELM Asia is home to Singapore-based project managers (PMs) and a back-office (administrative) support team located in Japan. Interestingly, our administrative staff supports our PMs, clients, and training participants all the way from Hachijojima, a remote Japanese island! Since the time difference between Singapore and Japan is only one hour, remote operations run seamlessly without any issues.

And this month, our administrative staff visited Singapore for the first time, bringing her kids along!

Because our administrative support roles involve working in English, this trip pulled double duty as a challenge to improve business English skills and a chance to refresh and recharge. They embarked on a two-week language study program in neighboring Malaysia. Even while studying abroad, they managed their work tasks remotely. During their breaks, they traveled over to Singapore to soak in the local atmosphere and enjoy a long-awaited reunion with the team!

Our team members are all incredibly tough, positive, and amazing at balancing work and life. We truly foster a corporate culture where everyone naturally cheers for each other’s challenges and unique lifestyles.
