Our annual Regional Workshop, featuring primarily R&D engineers, has officially kicked off in Thailand! This marks the beginning of an exciting six-month journey.
The highlight of Session 1 was the Design Thinking workshop. Prior to the event, participants conducted fieldwork in their home countries, observing local environments focused on the themes of “air” and “water.” They continued their observational research in Bangkok, analyzing real-world behaviors and street scenes through group work. On the final day, teams channeled their insights and ideas into creating rapid prototypes aligned with their themes. Working with a variety of hands-on materials, each team brought their unique concepts to life, resulting in highly creative and culturally diverse prototypes.
Stepping out of their usual environments to collaborate with colleagues from different countries is the true essence of this Regional Program. It provides everyone with fresh perspectives and eye-opening discoveries. We cannot wait to see how these ideas evolve over the next six months!
