Every year on August 9th, Singapore celebrates National Day, marking its independence from Malaysia in 1965.
It’s one of the biggest celebrations of the year, with a spectacular parade and a huge fireworks display lighting up the night sky.
We headed out on the evening of August 8th, when the city was already buzzing with excitement for National Day.
Even without the fireworks, the view of Singapore’s skyline at night was absolutely beautiful.
It was a lovely way to experience the excitement and atmosphere of National Day in Singapore.
